Faced with predictions that 20-50 percent of all jobs will disappear as a result of developments in artificial intelligence (AI) over the next 10-30 years, we would all be forgiven for being concerned about the future. When once we might have yearned for the days when we could be released from the drudgery of work, we are now scared by it. And it’s not just low-skilled jobs that could be affected, AI applications are already threatening to usurp professions like doctors, lawyers, bankers etc.

Expectant employee? Celebrate, don’t commiserate

Sharing the news that you’re expecting a baby with family and friends is almost always exciting and joyous. It can be a very different experience when you tell your employer. I’ve heard many women talk about how much they were dreading telling their boss. They were anticipating, with some justification, a negative reaction. It might have been coated in a smile and polite words of congratulations, but fundamentally the exciting news was viewed by the employer as a problem they really didn’t need. The truth is it doesn’t have to be that way.

Coaching helped me defeat my greatest internal enemies

Complete Coherence’s coaching method was different from anything I’d known before because it is very data oriented. It is backed up by science using a 24-hour Heart Rate Variability (HRV) assessment. As a result of that, I found that I succumbed to the objectivity of the data. Having that reality check of the data was really important. I could not hide from what the numbers were telling me about my energy levels.
